The Ocean Race | Spectator Boat

Sightsailing of Newport will be offering special spectating sails to share The Ocean Race with you.

This once every 4 years Race makes its return to Newport this year and Newport is the only North American stop-over! Traveling over 45,000 nautical miles and stopping in 9 cities, we are very fortunate to host and experience a part of what is often described as the longest and most difficult professional sailing event in the world.

Get a front-row seat aboard our schooner Aquidneck and take the opportunity to see these amazing boats up close and in action during the In-Port Race on Saturday, May 20, or as they restart and exit the bay as they make their way to Aarhus Denmark on Sunday, May 21st. Or privately charter Starlight for 2-6 guests.
