Covid-19 Update

Covid-19 Updates

All of us at Sightsailing hope that you, your family, and your friends are well!

Fresh air and sunshine are healthy for everyone and restore the soul,  so come out for a sail!

Rhode Island  and the CDC have updated and relaxed capacity restrictions for outdoor activities.  Currently Aquidneck is sailing with a maximum of 40 guests (49 for private charters) instead of 49.

By May 28, 2021 all restrictions will be lifted and we will be operating at full capacity: 46 for day sails and 49 for private charters.

The CDC has declared that all people have who have received vaccinations may participate in all outdoor activities with no social distancing requirements and no mask wearing.  Out of respect for others, if you have not been vaccinated, please wear a mask. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask please do so.

If you would like to go sailing and are concerned about being with people you don’t know, you may want to consider a private charter on our vessels Starlight or Sightsailer. Both vessels offer private charters so it’s only your group of people on board the boat.

We will continue to follow all state and CDC guidelines.  For more information see below.
